Michele has almost 20 years of experience in the event industry and over a decade in business. Michele was born and raised in the Windy City of Chicago. Michele builds effective and creative partnerships to bring events to life. Whether it’s the love of a couple getting married, the gathering of friends and family, or the collaboration of creative partners. The connections made within an event are what fuels her passion.
Through imaginative designs, expert resources, and supportive services, Michele utilizes her varied background to create seamless and heartfelt celebrations. Her unique combination of sincerity, professionalism, and adaptability brings warmth and organization to every occasion.
Dan has always had a wide range of interests. In college, he studied anthropology while working construction. Dan loves the ocean and even thought about becoming a Marine Biologist. With his skillful hands and scientific mind Dan decided to teach today’s children about science and the world beyond.

These two have much in common, but are truly distinctively made. Together with years of leadership and entrepreneurship Dan and Michele decided to move to the Central Coast of California and create Distinctively Made Event Planning and Design.
